Woolf’s Hale Village team braved the extensive wind and rain to celebrate Topping Out on Friday 06 February. Despite the extreme weather, the Woolf and Unite teams climbed to the roof of the 12-storey building to place the last concrete pour. Robin Goodlet of Unite thanked the entire team for the extraordinary efforts on the project so far.

The project has been advancing at pace since it’s start on site in March 2008. Unite are delighted with progress and Richard Simpson, Unite Managing Director, says "Hale Village is looking fantastic ….. the project is well on the way to being a great success and I hope the start of a lasting relationship.”

John Hodges , Woolf’s Operations Director, believes that “today is a real testament to the hard work and attitude of the team, who have delivered on the project vision agreed many months ago on the lead up to the project. We will now build on this success, constantly challenging ourselves and driving innovation throughout the project process.”

Once complete, Unite’s Hale Village property will provide 700 student flats and bedrooms, along with retail and commercial units. Woolf are currently preparing for start on site on a second project for Unite at Holloway Road which will provide 307 student bedrooms and several retail units.
